Acceptance

By creating or using an SMSHub account you agree to these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy.

Eligibility and verification

You must provide accurate information, verify a phone number and complete identity verification (KYC) before sending. We may refuse or revoke verification.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your account, API keys, recipients and message content. Keep your keys secret. Send only messages recipients have agreed to receive, and comply with applicable Ethiopian law.

Sender identification

Every message carries your SMS signature so recipients know who sent it — your ID-verified legal name, or a custom signature of up to 11 characters that SMSHub approved and you paid for (150 ETB one-time fee per approved request, non-refundable once activated). The signature can't be switched off. SMSHub may reset a misleading custom signature.

Content moderation

Messages are automatically screened. We may block messages, add policy strikes, suspend accounts and revoke API keys as described in the Acceptable Use Policy.

Credits and payments

Credits are prepaid, do not expire and are not transferable. A credit is used when a message is accepted for delivery and refunded if the carrier rejects it. Payment disputes are handled through support.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to protect recipients, the network or SMSHub, or in response to policy violations or legal requirements. Credits on accounts terminated for serious violations may be forfeited.

Service availability

Delivery depends on telecommunications networks and third parties. We do not guarantee delivery to every recipient or uninterrupted service.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, SMSHub is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the three months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on your dashboard or by email.
